The Red Corridor at the Royal Institution
Supported by Dr. G.M. Prescott and Dr. Frank James, Andrew Stones became involved with the Royal Institution through digitising a selection of audio tapes from the archive: recordings of various Friday Evening Discourses at the Institution. A fragment of one of these recordings can be found in the videotape Hubble 2003/4. Additionally, the artist became fascinated with a list of titles of every Discourse ever delivered, drawn from the Institution's database. This list forms the basis of his major work with the Royal Institution: the 8-channel audio installation Tell Us Everything 2003.
